The world's first electronically controlled ship Main engine STX-MAN 7S50ME-BMk9 type designed by STX Dalian and MAEN diesel engine test was successfully carried out
March 19, the test of 7S50ME-BMk9 type was carried out in the STX Dalian engine factory in three day. The test invited technical engineers of STX Dalian Engine, shipyard (STX Dalian Shipbuilding Factory), owner(SIBA Shipping) and other relevant technical staffs of 12 classification societies in the testing and certification .
The outbreak pressure of STX-MAN 7S50ME-B electronically controlled ship can be up to 180Bar, supplied by the electronically controlled fuel. It is designed to follow environmental philosophy while meeting the Tier II emission standards prescribed by IMO (National Maritime Organization). Main components of the framework, such as the host of the crankshaft and the engine is manufactured by STX Dalian, and its performance and quality are highly praised by shipowners and shipyards.
In the future, STX Dalian engine also plans to explore actively, and to develop a more efficient and diverse main engine. At the same time, on March 22, bench test of 5S60MC-C host STX Dalian engine is done successfully.
